Although traditionally cement is usually hand mixed on site now there are a number of pre mixed renders and also pre-colured renderers that we  can use on your home.

Types of rendering we undertake:

 

Smooth - A very popular finish as it gives a modern appearance to a house, usually done in two separate coats (scratch and top coat) smooth render is usually about 12mm thick.

Tyrolean - A three coat render (scratch coat, top coat and then spray application with tyrolean hand gun)  tryrolean finish is a relatively even honeycomb texture.

Roughcast - A three coat render traditionally used on older properties, achieved by throwing sand and cement and stone on top of topcoat of render, this finish is a very course finish but very hard wearing and durable.

Pebble dashing (AKA dry dashing)- this finish is achieved by throwing decorative stones (3-8mm) or chippings on to a wet topcoat, there are a number of different colored stones that can be used to create the finished look. This finish does not require any painting.

Monocouche (aka one coat render) - This is a one coat application render, available in a number of different colors. Mounocouche has a very modern scratched texture finish and is used on a lot of new build properties at the moment.
